Customer Question: Is this Azurite Liguis raw? Or Lapis Lazuli, Lapis Linguious, malachite? I heard Azurite Liguis is hard to find due to it depletion. I bought one stone from you already.

Answer: Yes, these are genuine naturally occurring Azurite crystals. Specimen quality.  They are mined by my close friend Rashid on his property in Morocco near the Atlas mountains.  To tell you the truth I should sell them as specimens for $24 - $50 a piece due to their quality being so high.  The grade coming from his mine is the best you can get in the world.

A lot of the natural Azurite is ground up for use in restoration of masterpiece works of art. The masters like Picasso, Rembrandt and others used Azurite to create their richest blues, which is where we get the name Azure Blue in the paint world. It is very rare and the paint fetches very high prices, so a lot of the global supply is sold for use in paintings.

I just don't have time to take 10 photos of each crystal and list them that way and as a pendant I feel my customers get more enjoyment out of them.

Azurite is a soft stone, named for its deep “azure blue” color. The saturated color ranges from bright to deep blue into shades of indigo, and may contain streaks of light blue. How our Pendants are Made:  I intuitively select a crystal for you when you order and place her gently into a Spiral Bead Basket with love and great care.  It sounds silly, but I usually compliment her and wish her well as she travels to her new home with you. Each pendant is then paired with a Selenite Charging Crystal and Silver Chain then they are packaged together.
